Sorry if you didn't get your question answered. I still am a little unclear about your prior experience except that the T was trying to get you to talk about past trauma and you don't want to talk about it?
I'm not sure what type of therapy would be best for you. Did you ask your current T what orientation he or she uses? Have you talked with your T about your difficulty in talking about this trauma? Or are you seriously considering switching T's?
I can't guarantee that working with a CBT therapist or even some other kind would help you to repress your memories, if that is your goal. But a CBT approach would focus most on the here and now, which perhaps may be less triggering for you.
