Okay, so of course I had written the most lengthy, wonderful, descriptive post to you, but I had forgotten to put my name in at the top and, well...you know what happens when you forget to do that. So, I will try to reconstruct it, though it was quite the masterpiece and I'm not sure if it can be redone. :) (No I'm not manic right now)
:)

> Anywho...Elle, are you sure we aren't sisters?

I'm beginning to wonder myself, these dx's are getting to be a bit TOO coincidental!

My T agrees with Burt that I definitely have OCD (of course anybody who didn't automatically agree on that, would be...well I have to keep this civil). My new T doesn't know about my Bipolar III.

> I'm SOOOOOO happy that you were able to open up to your new therapist!

Me too! I really like her. The only thing I didn't like is that when I told her some stuff, like about cutting, she goes, really loudly, "mmmm." Just a loud, monotone, "mmmm." I'm not sure what that means. Oh well, it was only the first session.

>Was it scary?

I was scared at first, but she put me at ease (which is a feat in itself).

>And how do you feel about the new dx?
The ironic thing is, is that a few days before I went to see her, I was researching Schizotypal PD, and I came across PTSD. I thought that the PTSD fit me perfectly. I didn't tell her about it, she came up with that dx all on her own. I was impressed.

>I'm sure you've read up about it, PTSD that is. Did you have any clue, or had it been mentioned in the past at all?

It hadn't ever been mentioned in the past. But, considering my childhood, it makes sense.

> I'm so very glad that you have a therapist you are able to open up with now. I'm proud of you. I see BIG things for you :)

I'm proud of me too! Thanks for being so encouraging. By the way, just for you, I'm making a list of all the people I have googled: A professor I had a crush on, Burt my pdoc, my therapist, my newest same-age guy crush. You see, I like to be informed. I don't go about stalking these people or anything like that. I just like to know what I'm getting into. For instance, what if I had found out some disciplinary action had been taken against my pdoc, then I would know to watch out for it. See what I mean? I don't think there is anything wrong about googling. And, although I understand Bubba's reaction, I think he could have handled the situation A LOT better.
Now I have to come up with a name for my T. She's a woman and it has to start with a "B" Brandi is too trendy for her...hmm I have to think about this. :)
