Beware not to blame it all on emotions!

Posted by Speaker on January 21, 2004, at 12:11:25

I have been having a really hard time and thought it was all due to changing T's and the stuff we are working on (PTSD). I know this stuff drains me and I was exhausted. I went to the medical Dr. to have a mole taken off and my temp. was 101.6 and I found out I have a kidney infection. I was blaming all the body pain on the therapy and blaming myself that I couldn't pick myself up by the bootstraps. I guess it made me feel better knowing it wasn't all mental. The Dr. gave me a big lecture on paying attention to my body...I am a nurse and should know better. This Dr. has no information about me being in therapy so I just listened to the lecture and thanked him. I stayed home today and am catching up on housework and sleep. Well, I guess I just wanted to make sure others think about their health and don't always blame it on their mental state like me :).
