How do i quit Wellburin XL what is the 1/2 life?

Hey, by any chance, does anyone know exactly how to wean yourself off of Wellbutrin XL. I was on 150mg of XL, and now, I cut it in half and take 75mg every night, does anyone know if I am doing anything wrong b/c it says not to cut the pill in 1/2 but, how else am I supposed to do it.

Also, does anyone know the exact half life of Wellbutrin XL? Just curious how long this stuff will stay in my system. Can't wait to get it out eventually.
