Depending on context, transference can mean just about anything from feelings for your therapist that are really caused (transferred) to your therapist from other important people in your life to any feeling you feel for your therapist. And example of the first definition would be if you reacted to your therapist as if she were your mother (maybe because she reminded of your mother in some way).
DBT is dialectical behavior therapy, a variant of cognitive behavior therapy invented by Marsha Linehan for chronically suicidal patients. It combines cognitive behavior therapy and elements of Eastern mindfulness and other practices.
