Great questions! And you just reminded me of something that has been nagging at the back of my mind regarding the Anthony Robbins thread.
One of the points he made is that questions work a lot better than traditional affirmations. When you affirm something (e.g. "I am so blessed!") there is an undercurrent of doubt, as in "against what do I need to assert this?". However when you ask the question "why am I so blessed?", it subtly introduces the notion as an established fact, circumventing any subconscious resistance.
Hope that doesn't detract from your thread, but it is a distinction I have always found fascinating!Michael
