As a child I had strabism and although I can see with both eyes, I can't see with both simultaneously. I use them interchaningly. That's why my 'natural' field of view is smaller and my 85mm lens is closer than a 50mm to what I regard as a normal perspective.

Is this what you mean by "strabisme," that you can't see out of both eyes simultaneously?

Is this what you suffer from?

If so, how about checking with a neurologist? Unless you think it is of psychological origin? Tell us what you are thinking.
