What you describe sounds like extreme apathy. I think it could be a form of depression. When I read your post it reminded me of a few lines in the Eagles song, "Desperado":
"Don't your feet get cold in the wintertime? The sky won't snow and the sun won't shine".
"And losing all your highs and lows, ain't it funny how the feeling goes away?"
