Hey Mike,
Sounds like you're going through some real tension. I can't speak for your diagnosis, but I can offer practical suggestions to decrease anxiety. "Don't Panic" by Dr. Reid Wilson is an excellent book that deconstructs the way anxiety works. I've owned a copy for about ten years now, and it has really helped.
Also, how is your physical condition? Do you exercise? If not, think about starting. You can sweat off so much of the daily bullshit--you'd be surprised. It sure saves my ass. More importantly, have you ever had your thyroid checked out? If your thyroid's out of whack, SO ARE YOU. A couple of blood tests can check the hormone levels. I'm not a doctor, but I've known some people with hyperthyroidism who have benefited (and slowed down)from medication. Could be a possibility--if you run "thyroid" in any web search engine you'll learn more.
Just a couple ideas... hope it helps. Good Luck.
