HELP! Given Neuronton to get off Klonopin

I went to my new psychiatrist today. Was hoping to get help in my battle to wean off of Paxil. He decided my 7 year usage of Klonopin (panic attacks) was my first priority to get me off of it. He prescribed Neuronton (300 mg up to 4 x day) and gave me a reduction schedule to wean off the Klonopin.

He told me to stop my Paxil withdrawal for the time being. <sigh>

Anyone go off of Klonopin successfully? Luck with Neuronton?

My diagnosis is severe depression and panic disorder.
