Yeah -- it sounds like situationally and physically, you're in a double whammy situation.
By the way, asthma frequently comes from weakened adrenals, which is not surprising if you're hypothyroid or under stress. Also, asthma meds can deplete the body of specific vitamins. There's a book titled _Drug-Induced Nutritional Deficiencies_ by Daphne Roe at my local health food store that could be a useful reference for you. Also, my mom -- who has asthma -- bought _Adrenal Fatigue: the 21st century stress syndrome_ by James Wilson and has found some improvement by following the suggestions.
You know, I'm hypothyroid too, and I find that I do better on armour thyroid than synthroid (levoxyl) sometimes. Has your doctor considered giving you a med with some t3, not just t4?
Anyways, I know it can be really tough to find the joy and happiness, especially when you're chronically sick. I hope you can empower yourself somehow.
