I had to get one of those orders... I know how hard it can be. Since sometimes YOU are the only witness to the bad or criminal behavior on the part of the man. And you feel the judge might not give you a fair hearing, because you're scared, or feeling emotionally distraught. I hope you were able to maintain your composure and it sounds as though you were... That's great!
I don't know if you ever talked in detail here about the situation that led you to this point, or if you ever wanted to... If you ever did, it would be ok. But sounds like this has to do with your dissociative episodes, maybe, so writing about it might be hard. Anyway, if you ever wanted to talk off-line, I'm at:
