She never claimed she had more to do with civil rights than Obama did. She claimed as far as I know, that President Johnson a huge impact on the fate of civil rights changes in the 60's-- which was said to be racist, but which just happens to be true. Which is not to say that without Martin Luther King, any of it would have been possible either. It doesn't take away from him to acknowledge the reality of Johnson's contribution--
By the way, 38 million people saw Obama's speech, not 75 million. Just to be precise.
The charge that the Clintons are racist is absurd IMO. Sorry, I just don't agree with you on that. And she didn't use racism in her campaign. She said some things, which though perhaps literally true, were dumb and unhelpful to point out. I don't think you know much about Hillary Clinton, honestly.
As far as Obama not needing them: he needs them desperately or he won't win. And I think they came through for him well. And I think they'll continue to do so. I certainly hope so.
I appreciate your enthusiasm and hero-worship of Obama. He's a remarkable person. But I disagree with your perspective about other things.
