Hi everyone.... Love this site and have learned tons of info, and finally decided to join.
My DMX is Major Depression; Extreme GAD. Some say Manic Depression, mostly depression... Struggled with this since Jr. High.... Became dependent on diet pills, at that time, and until 30 ish. Since then, I've taken almost all AD's. Only med that worked was Provigil, and Xanax. Tried almost all SSri's, and results were bad.... Am Musician, and teacher, and finally left my job at schools, due to ongoing depression....I was on Cephalon Assistance and recieved free Provigil. Now, since Medicaid kicked in, it's too expensive, and had to drop it... Currently, working with new doc, in new city, and he is fine with prescribing Wellbutrin XL 300 mg; Xanax, 1mg. 2x'x daily, and Tamazapam.... I have become resistant to most meds, at this point.. Two days ago, doc prescribed Abilify; 5mg; Wellbutrin, 300 mg. XL; Xanax & Tamazapam for sleep. Unfortunately, woke up at 4:00 AM, due to Abilify P.M. dose. Was unable to get back to sleep. Then tried it in A.M. with Wellbutrin...was tired and out of it all day. Don't know if Abiligy dose should be reduced and/or what time of day to take it. I'd appreciate your feedback on this problem. Thanks, Jude
