just getting to know my way around

well hello
i am interested in talking to people who try to make themselves and the world a better place ..i am not a hippy or anything if that sounded silly..just not quite sure where to start with this ..i found the thread on addictions and withdrawal most enlightening and i liked the people ..that's what attracted me to sign up.
