meds and psychiatrist ethics

Rapid cycling bi-polar successfully on 750mg Trileptal and 300mg lithium.

My 12-year treating psychiatrist gave patients 60 days to find new psychiatrist (with no referrals). Called 25 and several said my age prevented them from treating me. Seems to me older patients are better at taking meds as directed and keeping doctor informed of side affects and allergies than are younger people.
