First time I took it no problems no side effects. It was new then and the pdoc was the only one at the beach where we were living so he would give me a month's supply each time I visited. Then found babble and seriously took to heart a poster's response and that this is all the med would do nothing. But I don't feel I was depressed at the time just the typical anxiety for me. But after three months figured stop and went from 60mg to 30mg no withdrawal. But coming here kind of scared me so kind of went slow on the last 30mg. No withdrawal but was on a lot more benzos than now for sure. Used to lift weights then, walk 5 miles daily on the beach, then ride about 20 miles on my bike daily. I don't remember what I switched to probably luvox as trust it. But when off the cymbalta I had back pain seriously. So I'd also say try it as it's similar to pristiq? SNRI maybe different ratio but you will never know if you don't try you can always stop the med. Love Phillipa
