Well, they're not going to tell you the 'difficult' end of the scale. Let's face it, there's the 'it was a breeze' end of the scale, & then the 'God it was AWFUL' end of the scale.
You're right. Younger people would have a quicker recovery, I suspect, than people who are older than them.
I hope each day finds you feeling a little better. Please try not to worry about the speed at which you're recovering. I'd say it's totally natural to be tired & maybe a blessing in disguise, in that if you're tired & sore, at least you're not going to get up & be doing stuff before you're supposed to!!!
Anyway Phillipa - jeez Louise - it's only Day 4 after major surgery!!! You're a nurse. What would you tell a patient if she was saying she's really tired & in pain!!??
You're getting up for your walking. It's not as though you're insisting on JUST lying down.
You're in my thoughts Phillipa. Sending you gentle, healing thoughts.
