Hi Dinah and Phillipa,
My Dr repeated the blood tests that were abnormal in the hospital - elevated pancreatic enzymes and low blood calcium and potassium, elevated white count and they had returned back to normal. She conccluded that i had some kind of poisoning- which is so weird because i don't eat out and had eaten very safe simple things that day and the days before. Somehow i ate something very bad. It's a mystery why i became so sick. It's nerve-wracking too because i don't know if there's something still in my house that can make us sick again.
i'm so thankful that i'm better. i was never so sick before- it was terrible.
At least it was temporary. If i didn't get help i don't think that i would have made it.
i wish that someone had thought of giving me a screening test for toxins, so i could have discovered what specifically made me so sick so i could try to prevent it from happening again.kerria
