MRI shows Cervical Spondylosis..

Posted by NikkiT2 on June 15, 2006, at 10:17:14

So, my cervical MRI came back showing degeneration in the disc, and cervical spondylosis - he said my vertebre were at the point they should be when I am 60 (I'm halfway to 60 so far!)

He has referred me to an orthopedic consultant to discuss this further.. and I have ofcourse googled. He said that, as the orthopedic appointment will be quite some time coming, that I should start something like Yoga or Pilates to start strengthening the muscles that will need to work a little harder as my spine degenerates.

OK, so it does worry me a little.. I was expecting to get nothing from the MRI, so it was alittle bit of a suprise..

Any info or advice??

Nikki
