Try a "body butter" product with lots of shea butter. It will help retain the moisture in your skin. Put it on right after you shower or bathe. Shea butter emuslifies close to our body temperature, so it feels good on our skin. It is a great comfort to have a moisturizer to sink right in to dry skin.
The Body Shop and Bath and Body Works carry these. They even help with the nasty cracked skin on the heels of your feet. I swear by these products - I shower often (twice a day) and rely on these types of products to keep my skin happy.
