I had an MRI of the pituitary gland done two years ago when I lost my sense of taste and smell. No one ever read it except a radiologist was told to forget about it. And I did til now. Ended up in the ER the other night with shortness of breathe. All tests on heat, lungs okay. But when talking with the ER Dod the Pituitary thing came up and I told him about the loss of taste and smell and loss of feeling when I have to urinate or defacate, and the fact that I never feel hungry or full. And of course I don't want to eat cause I can't taste it. He referred me to a neurologist. For another MRI. The neurologists office said they have a number of people who can neither taste or smell. Should I be worried about what they will find. And I'm not lactating looking up micoronoma of the pituitary. Love Phillipa
