> thanksIt is a very crude average measurement. The liver enzyme that detoxifies alcohol is a zeroth order enzyme. It runs at a fixed rate, regardless of the amount of alcohol. (no half-life concept applies to alcohol)
The thing that matters most is if you have any sense of what *your* rate of metabolizing alcohol might be. Even relative to others. You might be considerably less than one drink per hour. What is your sense of it?
The second thing is to exercise to the deep breathing stage in the morning. It can slightly increase rate due to oxidation capacity.
Count your drinks, watch the clock, and add in a couple extra hours. I take it there are legal ramifications? Just take it seriously.
