nasty sinus headache?

So I'm having the worst pain-on the left side under my eye, and the middle and left of my forehead. I think this is a sinus headache. ouch! Why would one get such a terrible thing? I have a deviated septum. People say I should get it fixed. The whole idea of breathing out of both nostrils at the same time sounds exciting. Is it worth it?
