I have been struggling with my sleep for about a year. I get tired between 5am and 9am, and sleep between 8 and 10 hours. I was a student and recently graduated, so I have no obligations in my life. I would like to find a job but it is hard when you sleep all day.
I don't have much self discipline, so setting an alarm clock never worked for me.
I went to a sleep center and they gave me a sleep therapy. they said stay up 2 hours later every day. I finally did it a couple weeks ago and it was working well I think. but then I went out with friends one night and was hammering red bull and vodka, was wired all night, and it took me back to the old schedule. very frustrating.
I am restarting the therapy, and it wlil be about a week before I am back to normal. I will just have to accept the fact that I can't stay out late on the weekends for awhile. still, this has been very frustrating for me over the past year. I just want to get to bed at a normal hour and wake up at a normal time like every else.
it is nice to be up at night though. no traffic and it's always peace and quiet. I think I avoid life and issues with my sleep schedule.
I'll post here on my progress. hopefully I will not have sleep issues for that much longer.
