>I can't exercise because I have major orthopedic problems. I'm only in my early 50s, but I have to walk with a cane, and at the rate I'm going a walker isn't going to be too far in the future. It is hard when you can't exercise! I've got pulled ligaments on the top of my left foot and some days I can hardly walk, let alone exercise(even swimming hurts it). I also think I may have CMT(Charcot Marie Tooth disease) and that could be part of my foot pain problems. My doctor is on me to start walking but with slight agoraphobia it is not likely to happen.

Have you seen your doctor since? There may be more/different meds that work better for you. I see my doctor every 3-4 months for monitoring. It would be nice if I could drop it down to 6 months because I DON'T have insurance and every vist is $70!! Ouch!
Anyway, glad you are doing ok with the meds.
