I can do a google on aspartame and rosacea, and come up with numerous sites with nearly the same statements, word for word.....that aspartame increases symptoms in rosacea in 30% of subjects.

It doesn't *cause* rosacea. It might aggravate existing rosacea. But so does caffeine.

There are four kinds of rosacea, and some symptoms of the disorder are internal. Your husband should see a doctor.

It could be caused by Helicobacter pylori, the same bacterium that causes ulcers, for example.

A dermatologist can sort that out.
