I don't know if you have solved your problem yet but wanted to say that I had this trouble on Lamictal. I couldn't figure out from your post if you were still on it or not.
I was bloated, gassy and sore inside and out. Food went slap through me. The feeling of soreness and tenderness in my guts was really wierd.
This one of the early symptoms that I had indicating a reation to the drug.
