Personally, I think you are on the right track. You have to go on and SO DOES HE! You cannot do it all, and he has to figger out (as we say in Texas) what HE wants to do.
I would advise you NOT to get caught in trying to 'fix' or create some one else's life! A disability is a horrible thing, but the person who has it is the one who has to 'figger out' how to deal with it.
