Over the years, there have been ALOT of ideas and theories formulated to explain mental illness or even "strange" things that happen to folks. Some of them have withstood the test of time and appear as "proven" as much as they can be. Some, not. The same can be said for thoughts on treatments.

Personally, I don't believe in demonic possession. I don't think it's a reality. But, that's just my belief.
