Knowing God's voice / holy spirit

Posted by rjlockhart98 on October 6, 2005, at 16:45:51

I have almost a list of things that i could post that i have seen prayer influece some sitations.

When i really am in need, i ask in my mind Christ, please can I ask for your help. At times there is nothing, but others I have seen him guide me through situations, a still still quiet voice says "trust me". I ask him if it is the best thing, and sometimes he will give me rewards, even when you would think its not right, it's a gift of compassion. He see's over logic.

When i go to church there's the prayer room, it's very nice. I love the feeling that i can feel his presence (holy spirit) it is warm, compromising, joyful. I go in and almost feel like he's there always. I talk to him, well in my thoughts, about my troubles, or just small talk about whats going on almost like a personal relationship. Sometimes, i will get a response back, sometimes i wont. But i know he is here even through the misery of time.

God really can be somewhat of a friend, but guides you, and knows exactly everything. He created it!

I just wanted to tell anyone who reads this, if you want read II Corinthians, it explains much about the holy spirit and knowing god. Teresea for reason i wanted you to look at this post. I pray for you. And Lynn, please! read some of II corinthians. Spriggy i hope this helps.

Matt
