very true!
I love God with all my heart but I can say honestly, that loving Him and following Him has not meant an easy, pain free life for me.
I have had some very tough things come my way.
I have dealt with having abusive parent's, a father with a drug addiction, a mother who has never really enjoyed me or loved me, sexual molestation by an uncle for years, rape, having a child at age 16 and being abandoned by his father, being mistreated by the "church", having an autistic son, financial troubles,etc..
And yet, NONE of that has changed the fact that God is good. I figured out (after ranting and raving about "WHY"), that the difficult things we face... no matter how painful do not change the core of God's being. He is still good, He is still faithful, and He does love us.
Following Him does not mean we will not face tragedy and hardship- it only means we will have His hand and direction as we face those things'.
it's hard to accept sometimes but life just is not fair... but regardless, I am a big believer that God is GOOD.
