I watched a show yesterday on world religions, and it basically said we should study them, there is truth in all of them, that if we did that we would have more understanding of one another, and not be so quick to blame religion whenever two don't get along.
I must confess I haven't done that, and I don't know that I want to, but if anyone else has or wants to share, I suspect there is far more similarities than differences anyway.
I know God loves all people, in all countries, and think why wouldn't he sprinkle his truth throughout the world?
One that I have grown up with is "no other success can compensate for failure in the home". It isn't scripture, but I think it is true.
Of course the golden rule, "do unto others as you would have others do unto you" is a classic.
