I'm so glad you heard Him... I had no idea you were going through all of that mess! I hope you'll find full recovery, and peaceful health.
Yes - I know that God talks to us like that. I often "hear" Him in dreams, through others, through His creation, in sermons, in my own thoughts (which I'm careful to "test"), in books, in snippets from the radio, etc... including bumer stickers and billboards - lol!
I find that He's always speaking to His children... only we're not always careful to "tune in" to Him... He's always broadcasting -- we have to be sure to be on His "station", and then - well, we can pick up on His messages all around us!
