Oh, Spriggy!
It makes you wonder some times, just how much one person is meant to endure...
I'm so sorry for all the unsettledness in your life... being out of your home is so stressful. It seems as if your son is being affected by it as well. I hope his teachers are understanding, and can hang in there with him, til he's settled again.
And, it's wretched, not knowing the answers about your health. MS is a scary thing to consider! I have two cousins with it... and I remember a few years ago, when they thought that one of my chidren might have Cystic Fibrosis... they told me he might not survive adulthood. I was in limbo abuot it for weeks... (he's fine, but it was frightening).
We're a bit "in between" houses, too... having bought our "dream house" in Oregon, and having to sell ours here... and it's taking an inordinate amount of time (in this hot market) to sell it. I'm fearful of losing the dreamhouse, and finding my faith being challenged... (wondering if I "heard" God on the move, the house, etc.).
And, regarding health, I found out that my 21 years of being bulimic have taken their toll... I have the precurrsor to osteoporosis... no idea what that means yet -- I see the specialist this Friday.
I didn't want to focus on me, so much as to let you know that I can relate, in a way...
I know you know you're in God's hands, and that He can see you through this... but sometimes it's just plain tough to go through things. Especially the "unknowns".
God, You alone know what Spriggy needs right now. I ask that You grant her Your comfort and peace... that You provide her with direction and leading regarding her son. Let Your peace settle down on him, too -- reach him as only You can. Surround that whole family with the assurance that You are leading and guiding them, and that Your perfect will is being done for them... no matter what it looks like at any given moment.
Let people come alongside, to help carry the weight, to help them know they're not alone.
I ask for Your timing regarding their new home.
I ask for Your healing regarding Spriggy's health... speak good news through her doctor. Prepare her for the words she'll be hearing.
In Your name, Amen.
Shalom, Dena
