My most favorite hymn most of the time is "O My Father" because this is a hymn that speaks to both truth and reason. It also is the hymn that was sung at most funerals of those I have loved. I have received much comfort from it. The tune brings enjoyment, the words bring comfort, and the combination brings peace.
