I agee.
Handel's life is a fascinating study of one who overcane alot of adversity.
At one point in wrting the song he didnt leavehis house for 3 weeks! A friend reports he visited him and often found Handek in tears, sobbing from the sheer emotions he poured into his song~
The "Messiah" (or Hallelujah Chorus as its sometimes called) debut in 1742...yet remains today as one of the most moving and stirring music ever written.Here is an intersting article about George Fridrick Handel...
