We cannot blame Satan for anything we do. We are accountable for our own actions. Is this what you mean by blaming a personafied evil? I might rattle off a lot of ideas that seem to flouish in the moment, but only those ideas that are true will come together in the end. Truth grows together, fitting all the pieces eventually. It's like a backwards jig saw puzzle. The blank pieces are all prepared and they all fit, but it is up to us to define each one. We might stare at a blank piece, knowing it fits perfectly, but until we know what that piece is, it will be of no value to us. God knows what they are, but He expects us to figure it out for ourselves, but not on our own. He is there to guide and direct, support and sustain along the way, and even lights the path for us to follow, but we still have to jump aboard the puzzle board. I'm sorry if my writing offends everyone. It's hard for me to write outside of my own understanding, but I do like the whole concept of the faith board.
