A nice thought.
Strategem doesn't have to cause harm.Should we sit by and watch the family crumble? Some say they don't need to get organized, but how can a peaceful solution to life's horror be found otherwise? As people turn to Christ their lifestyle changes. As individual life styles change, peaceful solutions replace violence. As peace replaces violence, the world finds order. If the world was in order, (I believe) Christ would return. There is strength in unity, power in purity, and trust in fidelity. Put it all together and peace is borne. Purity, fidelity, unity, honor, integrity, and that's exactly why there is organized religion. There are right and wrong reasons for religion. Hey, do a top 10 if you like.
1. Religion should teach about faith
2. Religion should provide an example and a guide to live by
3. Religion should be a vehicle through which salvation may be sealed
4. Religion should teach truth
5. Individuals in that religion should do all within their power and free will to share their talents with the world
6. Pure religion is caring for the sick, the needy, the widows and fatherless
7. Religion should be in tune with God's spirit, and agree with the Bible.
8. Religion should teach its members to pray and trust in the Lord for guidance.
9. Individual guidance from the Lord should agree with the principles and doctrine of the church.
10. Top 10 best reason for organized religion centered in Jesus Christ is to bring peace to the world. It would bring peace to the heart, love to the individual, and change the world.top 10 worst reasons for organized religion:
1. to get rich
2. to exalt one's self above God
3. to persecute the less fortunate
4. to alter truth to meet the needs of the elect few
5. to foster any agenda that is not centered in Christ
6. to teach that a person does not need to pray
7. to make it up as they go along, without concern for alignment with the Bible or other scripture
8. to lie and cheat their way to supposed salvation
9. To deceive their followers by making false claims
Top 10 worst reason in my opinion for organized religion is war.It is unfortunate that even though some do all within their power to find peace, others do all they can to destroy it.
