Was there anything in your mystical experience that you would consider false? Is it wrong to feel close to God, saintly, holy? Were you ready for those feelings, or did they cause a change of lifestyle? Hold fast to that which is good. Learn to recognize the good spirit, and develop your awareness of similar feelings I guess. It is good to long for God. Even the obsession has its place. We can learn for ourselves when an obsession has gone too far and then back up a bit, or take it to a private corner of our world. I like to write swinging stories. It's fun to let your obsession run wild on paper. And it helps reign it in to reality.
I'm curious about the Jehovas Witness experience, but you likely can't post it here. XXX
