I always loved Bernie Taupin's lyrics when I was a kid, and that happens to be my favorite song of all time. (That's not to say my favorite songs are good songs; Thin Lizzy's "The Boys are Back in Town" is near the top of the list for personal reasons!) But I love the reverb in "Bennie," and I like to sing it in the shower. I think someone like Tori Amos should remake it.
