He was REALLY pleased that I had gone for a massage. And REALLY concerned that I had experienced a lot of pain during, and afterwards. We spent the session entirely on that lower part of my back - he said that it was still pretty stirred up. The acupuncture was sheer bliss (I am completely blown away at how removing the pain happens so completely and that feeling of euphoria that I experience - wowza).

He said that I need to keep working on managing my stress, but that I'm making progress. I can see that. I think I might try going back to my yoga practice, which I abandoned when my home life became so very full of anxiety and stress (that's right - I stopped doing yoga exactly when I needed it the most). It's that whole making myself do something good for myself that's so hard - I almost feel like I need to have someone on the other end, pulling me, or someone behind, pushing me, in order to actually DO it. Even though I know I'll feel better for it.

Sheesh.
