Hi Angela2,
It's a positive that you figured out what causes the bingeing. I know that guilty feeling very well. Bingeing (and for me purging) seems so right at the time, just what I need and then that feeling goes away and I'm back to anxiety or boredom or whatever triggered the binge.
You are right that you have the power to make it stop, I know it isn't easy, but try to keep that power in mind when you want to binge. Is there anything you can do when you are lonely or bored? Call someone? Watch a favorite movie? Something that'll take your mind away from bingeing will satisfy my needs. I know this is easier said than done, I binged yesterday on stuff I normally would not because I gained weight and hate my body. You'd think I'd catch on that bingeing makes me fatter?
Think of some distractions and focus on that you know what's triggering the binges and post how you're doing.
