There's probably a lot of variation in this answer.

Some people probably have more trouble in the longterm, and possibly for others its a more time or event-limited struggle.

Or the after-effects can be more noticeable or troubling, or less--

You probably need to consider each person's feelings and thoughts, and continuing sense of wanting to restrict or focus on food-- and their body. There's no answer that tells you that much about any individual.
