I've just finished "Hope Against Hope" and I need to find another non-fiction book.

Kapuscinski said somewhere that the taste for nonfiction has come about because we want to escape the fabrications of public life.

Maybe Inga Clendinnen's "Aztecs. An Interpretation"?

Now she's an Australian writer I like.
