"A Short History of Nearly Everything"
Not since Lemony Snicket have I enjoyed a writer's style this much. Admittedly we're listening to it as a book on tape. But I find that's best with the most amusing writers, as my inflections aren't quite up to the job.
Even though the subject matter is something my son would consider educational, he's not only listening to it with me, but joining me in telling my husband what's happening in the book.
