The book was "just OK" -- she tried too hard to impress with her writing skills, especially her descriptions. Some of the descriptions of sessions were good though and her path resembled mine too closely for comfort in some places. She spent most of the book telling us how hard she worked to break away from her therapist but it wasn't ever clear if she ultimately decided that therapy was a good thing or a bad thing for her. I think she wanted us to think about being too dependent but also she allowed that this is part of the process.

Over all, it bothered me more than it helped me. But I don't know what I was hoping for.
