Oh Racer, "The Lovely Bones" is one of the most remarkable books I have ever read. Be warned though there are bits that are really hard - really hard. But it is brilliant. Her other book about her rape and it's aftermath is very good too, but also hard going in places. I haven't read "Eats, Shoots and Leaves" yet but it comes highly recommended to me from a very good source. If you haven't read "The Time Traveller's Wife" I highly recommend that too. I bought "We Need to Talk About Kevin" on the weekend, it's next on the list.
