OMG - it was wonderful. I've posted about his stuff before - Jasper Fforde. His third book, "The Well of Lost Plots" was just released last month in the US - released last year in the UK - and he's doing his US book tour. He just happened to come to a nearby city, so I went to see him on Saturday!!! There were about 80 people there, and I got all three books signed, and, well, he was so funny and down-to-earth and his girlfriend was with him, helping with the signing, and he spoke about his life some and about how he comes up with the ideas for his crazy books...his books are soooo awesome! I highly recommend them if you have knowledge of the classics but are willing to see the humor in them!
