* I grew up on these and many other books. I now quote Thurber while at work....the topic being getting older.
I absolutely loved "Alice in Wonderland" and "Alice through the looking glass".
I grew up with everything appearing to me in reverse (mirror) image. So I could relate to her trip into the mirror and I absolutely delighted in the antics of silliness...the sillier the better...used to be my mantra. I love the shop that turned into a boat with the knitting sheep....I tried to find my book but nothing is easy today....ever have days when even the most simple of tasks is hard? I am.
